巴奈特曾在美国军队服役.S. Army, and was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas, as IT maintenance.  She is enrolled in the 文科 program. 多布斯曾在美国服役.S. Navy and is currently enrolled in the 专业摄影 program.

The scholarships were presented by Bob Wenger, District III Foundation Director of the 美国退伍军人协会 of Iowa Foundation. 成立于1978年, the foundation provides financial assistance to promote Americanism, 青年项目, 资深的康复, and community service in Iowa.
